Biography
Ruth is an employment partner in Stone Joseph which offers a fresh and friendly approach to employment law for its clients.
I firmly believe that solicitors should only undertake work when they can add value and make a real difference. At Stone Joseph we have extensive experience in dealing with employment related issues and ensure that we add value to any work we take on.
I take a practical and realistic approach to the law and will strive to explain the issues to you in practical terms which you will understand.
Experience
I specialize in all aspect of employment law for both employers and employees, which gives me a good insight into the other sides strategy. I have undertaken many claims in the employment tribunal for unfair dismissal, constructive dimissal and discrimination, including bonus and commission disputes. I have also added value for my clients in negotiating suitable compromise agreements particularly for senior executives. In addition I undertake High Court work on injunctions, confidential information and restrictive covenants for my clients. For my business clients, I provide training, employment contract, employment handbooks and related documents.
I always tell my clients it is the money not the principle and I see my role as helping you to obtain your objectives for the least cost. The lawyer and their client should be a partnership so it is important that I ensure you understand the issues and practicalities quickly so we can work together to achieve the right result.
