Biography
Admitted as a solicitor is 1975, Geoff’s team specialise in domestic conveyancing, matrimonial and family legal matters. Moving house can be one of life's most stressful experiences; we aim to reduce the stress by taking a proactive role to drive the transaction through. We can also advise you on freehold purchases and lease extensions, remortgages, local authority purchases and co-ownership acquisitions.
Experience
Alongside property matters, Geoff and his team have a considerable family and matrimonial law expertise. It is an unfortunate fact of life that not all marriages are successful. When a relationship breaks down it is not unusual for one or both parties to seek to dissolve the marriage or to obtain a formal decree of judicial separation.
A fair division of the family assets, including the matrimonial home must be worked out. In the majority of cases this is achieved by negotiation by your solicitor and agreement between the parties. We emphasise negotiation and agreement rather than conflict and confrontation in the application of the principles of matrimonial law to the special circumstances of each individual case.
