Biography
David is a Partner and Joint National Head of Family Law at Mills & Reeve LLP. He has a pre-eminent reputation for family law both in this country and abroad: he is President-Elect of the International Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers.
David is internationally renowned as the leading practitioner on pensions on family breakdown, even providing training to the judiciary in this area.
David is an accredited Resolution specialist in both substantial assets and pensions. His thriving caseload typically includes cases involving any or all of the following: significant assets; pensions; trusts; international issues; business interests; and simply those with unusual features or characteristics.
Experience
I act for privately funded clients on a range of issues arising from relationship breakdown including divorce, separation and financial proceedings. In particular, I specialise in dealing with the financial aspects arising on family breakdown, particularly where this involves issues surrounding business interests and property valuations, pensions and trusts. I also advise on pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements. I have a wealth of experience in dealing with applications to protect and freeze assets, as well as applications to protect the individual from harassment. I also deal with applications for contact and residence, formerly custody, of children and related issues.
